All That Glitters is not Gold

Wearing of a gown would not make an idiot a professor, nor would he be able to  pass off like a lawyer. His foolishness would still be revealed by his face. Painting and powdering the face may attract the attention of a passer by but it would not take him long to find out the truth. 

A layman, on finding a shining base metal, may imagine it to be gold, but the goldsmith would soon reveal the truth to him which will be to his dismay. However, there are many fakes and quacks who successfully play the roles of qualified people. Fake and standard things, sell fairly well, because of the false propaganda and advertisements about them. Many youngsters run to Bollywood attracted by the false glitter and glamour of the film industry.
